We are what we eat! What we put into our bodies (and onto our skin) literally makes up our physical body brain! But actually it is what we absorb that is most essential, and what the body has to do behind the scenes to keep in a state of balance. Jo will look at both food choices and the health of the digestive system to help improve the intake of health giving foods and optimise their absorption. Jo also considers hydration a key element to optimum health and well being.
Jo will work with you and your lifestyle to give you truly useful dietary advice, with helpful hints, tips and motivational strategies. Feel empowered to move towards, and achieve, living your full potential, a life of abundant energy, vitality, strength and clarity.
As well as affecting the body, what we eat (or don't eat) also makes a difference to our mind, our mood and our spirit. Have you noticed how your ability to see and think clearly can change? That how you feel, relate and perceive the world around you can shift? That your inner joy, inner sparkle and zest for life can rise or fall? All of these are influenced by many things and can be directly affected by what we eat.
Fortunately we can recognise signs of imbalance and use these as reminders to take steps back towards optimal health. We might be tending towards dis-ease on one or more levels and we can use food choices as a positive influence to help bring about, or maintain, health and well being, peace of mind and raise our spirit and vibrational energy levels.
Jo has a love of good food and can choose consciously to eat foods that help her to stay balanced, energised, connected, calm, alert and light. It is an ongoing journey and each person's dietary requirements are different so Jo's approach is very individual.
Combining holistic nutritional therapy with particular interests in optimum nutrition, conscious eating, intuitive eating, raw food and superfoods Jo can help to inspire and guide individuals to make food choices that really work for them. We are not looking for perfection but a turning towards life enhancing habits. The focus is on looking for wholesome, health giving foods that are both nutritious and taste fantastic too whilst reducing foods and drinks that create inflammation and stressful responses in the body. Jo believes that balance is the key and encourages positive changes, whilst allowing individuals to choose for themselves, based on where they are at in their life and what their lifestyle allows. Sometimes it is as much about changing our attitudes to food and how, and when, we eat as it is what we eat.
During personal retreats Jo can offer simple drinks and snacks that are packed full of goodness and vitality so that you can experience some of these wonderful food and drink options for yourself (by prior arrangement)

What others say...
'Jo is my go to Guru for nutrition. Her suggestions are always delicious as well as making me feel good afterwards. She is compassionate when it comes to eating habits and understands that being busy, poorly-stocked shops and emotional binges are all part of the process; she just meets you where you're at. Food-wise I honestly don't know where I would be without her?' Jules P

'I went to see Jo having embarrassingly suffered in silence with constipation. One consultation with Jo and I had simple changes I could make to my diet and helpful suggestions for relaxation and exercises to help too. I couldn't believe that this was enough to make a big difference but it was' Anon!
